Lisbon’s streets are famously hilly and often paved with uneven cobblestones. Comfortable, supportive shoes are strongly recommended — think sturdy sandals, sneakers, or low-heeled shoes with good traction rather than stilettos or flimsy flats.
Prepare for Heat
Summer in Lisbon can be hot and sunny, so choose lightweight, breathable fabrics like linen, cotton, or moisture-wicking blends to stay cool. Light colors reflect the sun and help with comfort; bring a wide-brim hat, sunglasses, and EXTRA sunscreen for daytime exploration.
Friday: Welcome Party
Friday is fully casual and takes place outdoors on a terrace. Dress comfortably in whatever you like. Buffet-style food will be served, and the vibe is relaxed and easygoing Get your sardines at some other time please!
Saturday: Garden Party
The vibe is classy, garden‑chic, relaxed, and fashion‑forward. Our celebration will be held mostly outdoors, so please plan your outfit with the setting in mind. Heels are not recommended — they can sink into grass and make moving around difficult. Opt for comfortable, stylish footwear suited to outdoor surfaces: low block heels, wedges, chic flats, or dressy sandals.
Feel free to wear any colors you like. After a short ceremony there will be games, food, drinks, and dancing, so choose an outfit that looks great and lets you move and celebrate comfortably. We can’t wait to see you there.
Sunday: All White Party Party
We’re keeping the celebration timeless and chic — our party theme is strictly all white and semi-formal. Please wear only white or very close variations: off-white, ivory, eggshell, or bone. Avoid beige, tan, or other non‑white neutrals so the overall look stays crisp and cohesive.
Feel free to accessorize: classic metallics (gold, silver, rose gold) and pearls complement the palette beautifully. Please do not wear red accents — shoes, bags, jewelry, or other details — as red is reserved exclusively for the bridal party.
This is a semi-formal evening with dancing, so bring comfortable shoes you can move in. Feel free to wear heels but you might also want to bring a stylish pair of flats or low block heels.
